Shri Ravindra Kumar, Director (Operations), NTPC-Chairman, BRBCL, arrived at BRBCL station, accompanied by Shri Sudip Nag, RED (East I & II), NTPC-Director, BRBCL, on March 22, 2024. He was welcomed by Shri Ravi Prakash, Chief Executive Officer, and Shri BJC Sastry, CGM (O&M), in the presence of other senior officials.
Dr. Vijay Prakash, ED (SSEA and Environment Engineering), and Shri RK Jain, Principal ED, Ministry of Railways-Director, BRBCL was also present during the visit.
Upon arrival, a Guard of Honour was accorded to Shri Ravindra Kumar, Director (Operations), NTPC-Chairman, BRBCL.
The visit commenced with a view of township wherein Shri Ravindra Kumar, Director (Operations), NTPC-Chairman, BRBCL, inaugurated ‘Sone Prabha Upvaan’.
Subsequently, Shri Ravindra Kumar and Shri Sudip Nag were accompanied for a comprehensive tour of the control rooms, wherein they were briefed about various operational insights. During the visit, Shri Ravindra Kumar, Director (Operations), NTPC-Chairman, BRBCL, also inaugurated ‘Central Workshop’ and ‘Prerna’ (a statue symbolising safety, environment, and quality as priorities).
Shri Ravindra Kumar also released the ‘Water Compendium 2024’ from BRBCL in the presence of Dr. Vijay Prakash, ED (SSEA and Environment Engineering) on the account of World Water Day.
The visit concluded with an interaction with young executives, wherein Shri Ravindra Kumar and Shri Sudip Nag were synergistic about the work-life relationship of the young executives.
